MSU Building Division Visits One Bangkok Project to Promote Smart City and Sustainability Concepts

It’s a good idea to explain.
But it’s better to show

On April 2, 2025, the management and staff of the Building Division, Mahasarakham University (MSU), visited the One Bangkok project on Witthayu Road, Bangkok. This integrated real estate project is the largest of its kind in Thailand and serves as a model for smart city development with a focus on sustainability.

The visit was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanayut Chaiyathongrat, Vice President for Finance and Procurement, along with Assoc. Prof. Metinee Khotdee, Vice President for Infrastructure and Environmental Development, and other staff members of the Building Division. They explored the design of green spaces, open areas, and environmentally friendly infrastructure, which are key elements in improving urban living quality.

The group also attended a special lecture by Mr. Kiattinan Wichitrapai, an expert on BUZON raised floor systems, who shared insights on construction technologies and innovations supporting sustainability. The team toured the project to see the practical application of these systems.

This activity provided an important opportunity for knowledge exchange, enhancing the staff’s capabilities and contributing to the future development of the university’s spaces in line with smart city concepts.
